Delete your account

This page is for the You & I app by Twosday LLC.

In the app

The quickest way, and it happens straight away:

1. Open You & I and go to Settings.
2. Tap More.
3. Tap Delete account, and confirm.

You need to be online. The app then starts fresh on your phone.

Without the app

Write to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”. There’s no email or password in the app, so tell us what helps us find your account:

• the name you used for yourself in the app;
• the other person’s name in the app;
• roughly when you made or joined the room;
• whether it was on iPhone, iPad or Android.

We delete it within 30 days and write back when it’s done. If we can’t tell which account is yours, we’ll tell you, and we won’t delete someone else’s.

What is deleted

• your account;
• the name you typed for yourself;
• your notification token and language;
• your widget key, if you had one;
• the app’s technical lines and counts from your phone;
• any room nobody else is left in, with everything in it.

What is kept, and for how long

What you made together with someone (games, results, answers, kept moments, notes, coins and the house) stays with them in your closed room, until they delete it or their account too. It no longer leads to you, and nobody can reach you through the app.

Analytics events and crash reports already sent aren’t tied to your account, and nothing you wrote is in them. Crash reports are deleted within 90 days, and analytics events within 12 months.

Paid plans

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
